Job Description:
A Probe Production Specialist is an entry level position that operates various highly complex equipment, in a cleanroom environment needed for Wafer Testing. A Probe Production Specialist works a Compressed Work Week (CWW) meaning they work 12 hour shifts for half of the week.
  • Runs, monitors, setup, and trouble shoot various toolsets.
  • Runs, monitors, and setup parametric test equipment.
  • Runs a variety of support equipment.
  • Supports various groups and departments to achieve a variety of goals.
  • Communicates in a variety of ways to a variety of entities.

Front Days (FD) is a Compressed Work Week (CWW) schedule working Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday. 630am to 6:36pm
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail
• Prior success working both individually and in a team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal direction
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed work specifications
• Excellent listening skills
• Adaptability to frequent change and improvements
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential
• Ability to wear the required Protective Equipment
• Basic computer, math and reading comprehension skills
• You must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
Excellent written/verbal communication skills; Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail; Prior success working individually and in a team environment; Ability to follow direction (both written and verbal).
Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed work specifications for each piece of equipment.
Good work history, dependable, personal attendance/punctuality; Personal availability to work compressed shift schedule; Quick adaptability to changes; Basic computer, math and reading comprehension skills; and High school diploma or GED; Previous Probe experience is a plus. Leadership skills are also a plus. Previous Fab production experience in a clean room environment a plus. Must be able to Follow Microchip's Policies Must adhere to cleanroom requirements Must Support Microchip's Guiding Values and Culture Receive direct instructions and follows prescribed procedures. Work is routinely reviewed. Activities are routine and may be repetitive.
Proficiency in written and oral communication. These skills and abilities normally may be acquired through 12 years of general education or equivalent. Must have and maintain an above average attendance.
Must Possess the ability to stand 75%, walk 15%, sit 10%. Must also be able to carry 20lbs and push 60lbs.
