Job description

Job Purpose:

Provide medical services and education to patients of Aspire Women's Clinic based on the FOCUS method, supporting at-risk women in a pro-life setting.


ClinicalResponsibilities:

  • Pregnancy and STD Screening: Perform urine pregnancy screenings and STD screenings as needed.
  • Treatment: Administer STD treatment medications according to clinic protocol.
  • Patient Education: Conduct health history assessments and provide education onunplanned pregnancyoptions.
  • Documentation: Conclude appointments with personalized assessments, education materials, pregnancy verification (if applicable), and refer at-risk patients to relevant resources.
  • Risk Assessment: Determineappropriate follow-upcare based on the patient's risk assessment.
  • Abortion Pill Reversal: Provide abortion pill reversal medication therapy according to protocol.
  • Ultrasound: Perform limited ultrasound procedures.
  • Charting: Use theEkyrossystem for patient charting and auditing.
  • Advocacy:Patient intake and counseling.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Nurse Manager.


Community Responsibilities:

  • AttendWalk for Lifecommunity fundraiser.
  • Participate in theannual Christmas celebration.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Attendmandatory medical staff meetings.


Qualifications:

  • MaintainFlorida Registered Nurse licensure.
  • MaintainBasic Life Support (BLS)certification.
  • StrongChristian faith(devotion to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior).
  • Commitment to serving and supportingat-risk womenin alignment with apro-lifemission.
  • Bilingual preferred, English and Spanish speaking.
