Position Summary
As a Field Scheduler, your primary responsibility will be to create, manage, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution of engineering, procurement, and construction activities. Your expertise in scheduling, resource allocation, and critical path analysis will be crucial for successful project delivery. This position is project based, not in office.

Essential Job Functions
  • In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a broad range of projects, including but not limited to Small/Mid/Large EPC or EPCM projects.
  • Development schedules at levels 1-4 with milestones, update and maintenance of resource loaded schedules, critical path analysis, resolution of scheduling conflicts and monitoring schedule delays, impacts and variances to the baseline.
  • Evaluate and report schedule deviations and review change management.
  • Analyze, trend and communicate schedule and progress information to project personnel through useful graphs and reports.
  • Provide weekly, Bi-weekly, and monthly project reports and interface with Client representatives as necessary or as required.
  • Lead monthly process of Progress and Performance measurement based on EVM (Earned Value Method).
  • Prepare and present project planning reports for project management and customer review.
  • Hold project team accountable for progress commitments.
  • Develop EPC resource loaded schedule phases (Engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning) with strong knowledge of Project Planning/Scheduling.
  • Communicate proactively with project team, stakeholders and project leadership all issues and variances which may influence the project outcome.
  • Ensure Change Management is adhered to by project team to quantify impact to schedule.
  • Lead the effort with project team to develop mitigation plans to stay on plan.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and other project personnel.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and clients to clarify planning related requirements, reporting purposes and issues.
  • Work with Project Controls Manager to ensure alignment of the project forecast Estimate at Completion (EAC) in terms of time.
  • Work with Project Controls Manager to develop and consistently utilize Project Controls processes, procedures and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's procedures with continuous review and improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and company standards.
  • Validate integrated, detailed schedules from contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Assist in developing detailed work breakdown structures.
  • Identify all the tasks required to effectively ensure that all equipment and material delivery is effectively forecasted

Qualifications
  • P6 scheduling software knowledge, with expert-level knowledge and experience with: resource loaded, cost loaded, re-baselines, CPM and scope changes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
  • 4+ years progressive experience on small to large EPC or EPCM projects within Energy industries.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and processes.
  • Construction-related scheduling experience - Critical Path Method.
  • Ability to relocate to jobsites as needed or requested.
  • Ability to travel to jobsites.
  • Must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Desired Qualifications
  • 4 + years direct work experience in EPC Planning and Scheduling capacity, including all aspects of scheduling and change order management development and execution.
  • PSP Scheduling Certified is a Plus.
  • Engineering, Construction Management, finance or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
