Position Overview
This role blends high-level childcare with household management, requiring someone who can seamlessly transition between nurturing care for our three children and overseeing the day-to-day flow of the home. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and naturally takes initiative.
Schedule
- Typical schedule: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Flexibility required based on family needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for three children
- Confidently manage daily routines, transitions, and schedules
- Oversee household organization, logistics, and general operations
- Coordinate school pickups, activities, and appointments
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with principals
- Travel with the family domestically and internationally
Qualifications
- Career nanny with substantial experience in private homes, ideally with multiple children
- Demonstrated ability to manage both childcare and household responsibilities at a high level
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and a high degree of professionalism
- Excellent judgment and safety awareness
- CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
- Valid driver's license with confidence driving larger vehicles
- Up-to-date on Tdap and flu vaccinations
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working around cats, large dogs, and reptiles
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Willingness to sign a confidentiality (NDA) agreement
- Physically capable of keeping up with young children and an active household

Compensation & Benefits
