To provide assistance with financial tasks and grow professionally with 8-koi; a diverse Florida based service and consulting company that has been providing outstanding results for our clients for over a decade.
Position Overview
As a business-minded intern, you will work directly with our leadership team to support strategic financial decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in business financial management and operations who wants to make a real impact while learning how a business grows and adapts in a competitive market. The ideal candidate is planning to continue their education in the local area, continue supporting us while at school and upon graduation become a full-time employee. The position is located at the 8-koi HQ in Melbourne, FL
Duties and responsibilities
Assist with payroll processes
Support strategic initiatives across operations and finance.
Create and maintain reports, presentations, and dashboards.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings.
Help implement growth strategies and track their outcomes.
Work with other team members to streamline processes.
Assist with Administrative requirements
Assist personnel as required to complete assigned effort and tasks
Administrative duties such as scanning documents, answering phones, running errands, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or another related field.
Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office programs
Must have excellent math skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity and a self-starter attitude.
Strong organizational skills along with attention to details.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work in our HQ office (Melbourne, FL)
