Job description

Join a well-established service provider supporting specialized equipment for construction and utility companies across South Florida. This team is seeking a mechanically inclined individual who is eager to learn and grow into a skilled service technician. This role is field-based and requires hands-on work maintaining and repairing equipment at customer job sites. Candidates with basic automotive or mechanical experience including 'backyard mechanics' or entry-level shop technicians are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on pump equipment in the field
* Complete tasks such as oil changes, battery replacement, belt changes, and minor electrical repairs
* Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues and supporting more advanced repairs under guidance
* Travel daily to customer job sites within the service area to service and inspect equipment
* Document service work, inspections, and equipment conditions
* Support customer needs by communicating service updates and basic technical information
Required Skills & Experience:
* Must have mechanical experience in automotive, equipment, or other hands-on environments
* Must be able to perform oil changes, identify mechanical components, and use hand tools
* Must have a valid driver"s license and a clean driving record
* Must be comfortable traveling daily to job sites within a 90 mile radius and working outdoors
* Must have a basic set of personal tools
* Must be flexible to work overtime and be available for rotational on-call duties after training
Preferred:
* Entry-level equipment or shop mechanics open to field work
