Job description

Job Summary:
Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Cross Domain Print Engineer. The role involves maintaining, documenting, upgrading, and patching cross-domain printing and file transfer systems within the FBI, requiring expertise in both Windows and Linux printing services.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Engineer and configure data routes between various domains with varying classification levels and ensuring security of data.
โ€ข Ensure the daily operations of the cross-domain environment.
โ€ข Carry out all component patching, maintenance and upgrades and ensure any changes are documented and verify any changes do not introduce any new operational or vulnerability issues.
โ€ข Provide documentation on the current and planned configuration of the cross-domain environment.
โ€ข Assist with system accreditations and resolve security vulnerabilities, findings, or mitigate concerns.
โ€ข Engineer, design, install, implement, and configure as well as ongoing integration and support of the Unix/Linux Infrastructure.
โ€ข Serve as the subject matter expert for Cross Domain environments which may consist of Windows and Linux based operating systems to include Red Hat, AIX, Solaris, or CentOS.
โ€ข Create and maintain bare-metal and virtual machines with the appropriate distribution of Linux and network configuration, using tools that include Satellite Server, and BigFix.
โ€ข Possess excellent knowledge base in DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP, and integration with Windows to solve technical and functional issues.
โ€ข Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
โ€ข Provide 4th level support.
โ€ข Ensure technical documentation exists for all systems and is kept up to date to include inventory and patch levels of all systems to include hostnames, property numbers, IP addresses, enclave, number of cores, number of processors, admin passwords, certificates, and service accounts on a monthly interval.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข a minimum of 8 yearsโ€™ experience of Linux and Cross Domain knowledge
โ€ข U.S. Citizenship is required
โ€ข a Top Secret clearance and be willing to sit for a SCI-CI Poly
Preferred:
โ€ข A Bachelor's degree is preferred
โ€ข Linux Professional Certification (LPIC) or higher Red Hat Certified Administrator (RCSA)
