What is a print assistant?

Print Assistants are professionals who support the operations of printing presses and related equipment in print shops or publishing environments. Their responsibilities typically include preparing materials for printing, loading paper, mixing inks, maintaining machines, and assisting with quality control. Print Assistants work under the supervision of print operators or managers and help ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. They may also be involved with cleaning equipment and troubleshooting minor issues to prevent downtime. The role requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
