Job description

Inventory Management & Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials.
  • Track lot numbers, batch codes, and expiration dates where applicable.

Material Planning & Coordination

  • Monitor stock levels to support production demands and customer orders.
  • Coordinate material replenishment based on minimum and maximum stock levels.
  • Work with purchasing to forecast material needs and prevent shortages.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory for management review.
  • point of need for all departments, materials organization, and inventory control
  • Updates in Epicor, labeling, moving, rearranging, primary working location is the warehouse --spending about 1 hour a day updating info in Epicor.

Data & Systems Management

  • Update inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems (receipts, transfers, adjustments).
  • Generate inventory reports for management and production teams.
  • Analyze inventory trends to recommend process improvements.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Communicate inventory issues that could impact production schedules.
  • Support audits by providing inventory records and documentation.

Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Adhere to company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred).
