Job description

BB&E is an employee-owned, full-service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering, and Program/Project Management Services to the Federal and private sectors. 

Position Summary 

BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team, supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Honolulu District (POH) Programs & Project Management Division (PPMD) by developing and maintaining resource-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules in Primavera P6 for an upcoming surge of FY27 projects. Work will be performed on-site at USACE Honolulu District facilities in Honolulu, HI, using Government-furnished computers. This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities 
  • Input resource loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules into Primavera P6 
  • Enter, monitor, and update resource loaded schedules 
  • Conduct resource analysis and critical path analysis, identifying any resulting impacts or opportunities for Government consideration 
  • Develop all schedules using a modernized Program and Project Management Information Suite (PROMIS) (Primavera Project Manager/P6 Web), Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), and RMS 
  • Run reports in Primavera and develop reports using MS Power BI and other MS applications 
Key Qualifications 
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required 
  • Primavera P6: Proficiency in Primavera P6, with the ability to work independently in the software from day one, is required 
  • Reporting: Experience running reports in Primavera and experience using MS Power BI and other MS applications to develop reports is required 
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing 

Requirements

  • Experience: Fifteen (15) or more years of total relevant experience is required. In addition, a minimum of three (3) full years of experience using Primavera Project Manager/P6 to manage and update resource-loaded CPM project schedules is required 
Physical Requirements 
  • Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time 
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including a computer, copy machine, phone, etc. 
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms 
  • Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs. 
  • Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away 
  • Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone
