Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5years of experience in project planning role IN A CONSTRUCTION ENVIRONMENT.
The Project Planner will coordinate, monitor and progress the on time delivery of assorted projects or products using Primavera. To achieve this, it will be necessary to create and maintain accurate data, and work with the relevant engineers to ensure the timely completion of work scopes and manage risks using Primavera.
As the Project Planner, you will:
Work within the Planning COE team
Maintain project schedule and proactive risk management of the project
Maintain engineering schedules with summary reports
Plan and schedule Design Reviews for customer projects
Provide project and resource load analysis to drive on time delivery
Use Primavera to develop and maintain a suite of integrated work package templates for system and project engineering, platform engineering, and control automation for power conversion projects
Update plans weekly with the lead engineers and engineering managers
Provide weekly project reports and schedules to Project Managers to assess the overall progress for engineering
Work with Global Supply Chain to ensure that engineering deliverables are completed on time to ensure that the purchasing team has adequate time to procure parts and supplies
Support GTE by analyzing workload actual and forecast including scenario planning
Complete regular monitoring of progress by tracking hours spent versus budgets to support project objectives
Work with Engineering Planners from other Power Conversion sites to drive commonality and standardize engineering planning process
Establish performance indicators for inputs / outputs (Lead Time, OTD / LoB, FTY)
Use of Dashboard for helping project handling and define priority
Support continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and cut out waste
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning role IN A CONSTRUCTION ENVIRONMENT.
Expert in scheduling and planning with valid experience in PRIMAVERA.
Project management experience
Experienced in engineering design processes and tools
Proven record of continuous professional development
Project leadership / management experience or training
Familiar with Oracle and Primavera software packages
Familiar with application engineering of power systems or power converter / inverter systems
Work experience in a global matrix organization
Multi-project management in a challenging and fast moving market
Structured in approach and well organized
Capable of working with a multi-disciplined and possibly international engineering team
