Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,400 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for a Pricing Manager at our Chatsworth, CA office- The Manager of Pricing will lead the pricing function responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies across Ontic's aerospace portfolio. This role is critical in driving revenue, margin performance, and commercial decision-making in a complex, high-mix environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, a deep understanding of pricing strategies, and the ability to navigate nuanced data and business cases. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the pricing team
  • Own pricing strategy and execution across assigned product lines and customer segments
  • Evaluate and approve pricing recommendations, ensuring alignment with margin and revenue targets
  • Apply & develop the right pricing principles, including willingness-to-pay analysis
  • Partner with Sales, Commercial Operations, and Supply Chain to support RFQs, proposals, and long-term agreements
  • Analyze cost structures, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to inform pricing decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes, tools, and data quality
  • Support business case development for strategic opportunities (e.g., inventory investments, price lists, bundling strategies)
  • Ensure pricing governance, consistency, and compliance with internal guidelines

To be considered for the Pricing Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • 3-5 Years of relative experience
  • Strong pricing experience required (aerospace or industrial preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with complex, imperfect, or nuanced data sets
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategies (cost-plus, value-based, market-driven)
