About Us: 

Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to provide broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. This requires completely reimagining the healthcare experience and incorporating the latest advances in technology. 

About the Role 

As a Physician at Neko Health, youll be part of our mission to redefine preventive care. Youll use advanced diagnostic technologyincluding high resolution skin imaging, cardiovascular assessments, and data-powered decision supportto identify risks early and guide patients toward better long term health. 

This is a deeply collaborative role: youll work closely with operators, APPs, and cross functional partners to deliver a seamless, insight driven patient experience. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct comprehensive preventive health screenings using state of the art diagnostic tools. 
  • Interpret data and develop personalized, action oriented health plans. 
  • Educate patients on dermatological and cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle strategies. 
  • Collaborate with clinicians and care teams to ensure continuity and high?quality outcomes. 
  • Provide clinical oversight and escalation support for APPs. 
  • Contribute to quality improvement, research, training, and product evolution. 

Qualifications: 

  • MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related field and 1+ years of experience practicing in a related field 
  • Active New York medical license 
  • BLS Certification required 
  • Passion for preventive care and evidence-based medicine 
  • Comfort working in a tech forward, fast moving clinical setting 
  • Strong communication, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset
