Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Boring, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications.
· Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
· Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring tools to maintain quality standards.
· Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and job requirements.
· Load and unload materials safely while maintaining efficient workflow and production schedules.
· Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent product quality.
· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain safe and efficient operation.
· Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
· Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Accurately document production data, completed work, and any quality concerns or equipment issues.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; prior press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred.
· Experience operating CNC press brake machinery and reading blueprints strongly preferred.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
· Flexibility to work overtime or varying shifts as needed.

Compensation:

· $32–$42/hour DOE (Depending on Experience).
