Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed labels and packaging materials that meet customer specifications.


The ideal candidate has experience operating flexographic presses, enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to producing quality work while maintaining safety and equipment reliability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret job orders, work instructions, and production specifications
  • Set up flexographic printing presses for production
  • Start and operate printing presses
  • Run approval samples and inspect printed materials before full production begins
  • Inspect printed product throughout production for quality issues
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
  • Mix inks to achieve proper color matching and viscosity requirements
  • Clean printing plates, cylinders, dies, and press components
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and communicate production issues to supervisors
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company housekeeping standards
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality control requirements
