Job description

Are you looking for a 2nd shift opportunity with a consistent 4-day work week and the option for overtime? Do you enjoy hands-on work in a steady manufacturing environment? If so, this position could be for you!

POSITION – Brake Press Operator

JOB LOCATION – Port Washington, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30am (4-day work week)

STARTING PAY – $20 to $22 per hour

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Metal stamping or prior machine operating experience is a plus

As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press equipment to form and shape metal components according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys precision work and staying active throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

Operate brake press machines

  • Read and interpret work orders and basic blueprints
  • Form and bend metal parts to specifications
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
  • Use basic measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

SEEK was founded in 1971 by Carol Ann Schneider, CPC, SPHR, a Grafton, Wisconsin resident. The name SEEK was derived from a combination of initials in Carol’s family. It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
