Hybrid / Accounting & Finance / Full-Time

Corestream is looking for a Senior Premium Accountant to track and evaluate day-to-day accounting transactions/activities. Responsibilities include managing the premium accounting function, including managing AR activities within the general ledger as well as analyzing general ledger transactions. We are looking for someone to work closely with our Assistant Controller. If this sounds like you, read onโ€ฆ

Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile premium cash deposits and payments
  • Manage and perform the daily transactional activities with the General Ledger (Netsuite)
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • Develop and maintain desktop procedures for ongoing activities.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce account reconciliations
  • Process monthly, quarterly, and annual state filings
  • Support annual audits
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/audit
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • BS degree in accounting
