POSITION SUMMARY:

• Lead and mentor mammography technologists through onboarding, cross-training, competency validation, and ongoing clinical education across multiple imaging sites.

• Perform high-quality diagnostic and callback mammography exams, collaborating directly with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging, protocol adherence, and exceptional patient care.

• Oversee modality quality assurance and quality control programs, including technical image reviews, performance improvement initiatives, and technologist feedback.

• Support and maintain MQSA, American College of Radiology accreditation, equipment quality control, protocol development, and regulatory compliance across all mammography locations.

• Serve as the clinical subject matter expert for mammography operations by troubleshooting equipment and workflow issues, optimizing imaging protocols, and ensuring compliance with RIS/PACS documentation and radiation safety standards.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education - Graduate of recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technol-ogy.

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).

• State certification as Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.).

• Requires Mammography Certification and current CPR and AED certification.

• Experience - Two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology desired

Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.
