Job description

Austin Radiological Association (ARA) is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their highly respected and collaborative team in Austin, Texas. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a radiologist seeking a high-quality breast imaging practice, strong compensation, and partnership potential within a nationally recognized group. With a 72-year legacy of excellence, ARA is one of the largest and most established radiology groups in the country, committed to innovation, physician leadership, and exceptional patient care.

  • 118 subspecialized radiologists serving hospitals and outpatient imaging centers throughout Central Texas
  • Academic collaboration with Dell Medical School at the University of Texas
  • State-of-the-art technology and dedicated breast imaging resources
  • ARA serves 24 hospitals and operates 18 outpatient imaging centers, with expansion plans underway to grow to 19 outpatient imaging centers by the end of 2026
  • Physician-led and physician-owned practice

Responsibilities

  • Interpret screening and diagnostic 3D mammography
  • Breast MRI interpretation
  • Breast ultrasound interpretation
  • MRI-guided breast biopsy
  • Stereotactic breast biopsy
  • Ultrasound-guided biopsy and aspiration
  • Collaborate closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Shared evening and weekend general radiology call (General Partnership Track only)
