About Blackhawk Plastic Surgery & MedSpa

Blackhawk Plastic Surgery & MedSpa is a Premier Plastic Surgery Partners practice located in the East Bay. Our AAAASF-accredited surgery center, surgical clinic, and MedSpa are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and natural, transformative results.

We are a collaborative, high-performing team that values professionalism, patient experience, attention to detail, and continued growth. Our team includes a Plastic Surgeon, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, and aesthetic professionals who work together to support patients throughout their surgical and aesthetic journeys.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team full-time. This unique role provides the opportunity to work across all three areas of the practice: the surgery center, clinic, and MedSpa.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, adaptable, team-oriented, and passionate about both surgical patient care and aesthetics. This role will work closely with our Plastic Surgeon and clinical team to support patients from consultation and surgery through recovery and long-term aesthetic maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Surgical & Clinical Support

  • Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care
  • Conduct patient assessments, education, and follow-up visits
  • Support surgical patients throughout their treatment journey
  • Assist with OR workflow and perioperative patient care
  • Provide PACU and recovery support as needed
  • Collaborate closely with the surgeon, NP, PA, and RN team to ensure excellent patient outcomes

MedSpa & Aesthetic Services

  • Perform aesthetic consultations and treatment planning
  • Provide injectable treatments including neuromodulators and dermal fillers
  • Perform or assist with laser and energy-based treatments
  • Educate patients on skincare, treatment options, and maintenance plans
  • Support treatment plans that complement and maintain surgical results

Patient Experience & Team Collaboration

  • Deliver a high level of patient care and communication
  • Serve as a reliable and compassionate resource for patients
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and photography
  • Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
  • Participate in ongoing training and continued education

Qualifications

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner license
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, PACU, OR, or outpatient procedural settings preferred
  • Experience with injectables and aesthetic treatments is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
