Role Summary
The Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing employees in the workplace in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This fast-paced role requires multitasking related to operations, staffing, clients and customers. This position requires a flexible schedule including extended hours. The Associate Manager reports to the Operations Manager or Senior Operations Manager.
Essential Responsibilities
โ€ข Oversee the property (ies) with excellence and attention to detail. โ€ข Promote positive customer relations by being responsive and attentive to customer needs. โ€ข Channel requests and requirements of location's landlord to appropriate decision maker. โ€ข Schedule employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels per shift to meet service requirements and budget. โ€ข Ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting. Check time and attendance system records, compile and submit payroll for Operations Manager or Senior Operations' Manager approval. โ€ข Resolve customer service inquiries, complaints, incident reports and claims for the location as needed. โ€ข Maintain corporate standards and location log books. โ€ข Leads by example and ensures that customers have an exceptional customer service experience. โ€ข Maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times. โ€ข Excellent communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills. โ€ข Effectively presents information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and associates. โ€ข Applies reasoning and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. โ€ข Recruit, coach, motivate and evaluate teams. โ€ข Ensures employees are properly trained and follow established safety standards. โ€ข Establish and maintain scheduling procedures. โ€ข Perform related duties as requested.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED (or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field). * At least 1 year of experience working in the parking, valet, real estate, leasing, retail, hospitality, transportation/logistics, property management or manufacturing industry * Computer literate; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and utilizing Web-based computer systems
Additional Duties May Include:
โ€ข Reconciliation of Payroll Deduction Process, ID Badges Payment, and Petty Cash Management. โ€ข Provide refunds as needed. โ€ข Maintaining supply inventory. โ€ข MDI Process and updates. โ€ข Contractor and Visitor Parking oversite and audit. โ€ข Internal and External Communications with Hospital, Vendor, and InterPark Staff. โ€ข Paper and Electronic File Maintenance. โ€ข Operational Binder Maintenance.
Eligibility Requirements:
- MUST submit your application for employment through www.interparkholdings.com (internal and external candidates) to be considered for this position. - MUST have unrestricted authorization to work in US. - MUST have a valid driver's license in order to operate company or customer vehicles - MUST be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, motor vehicle driving history check and background check. - Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process. - MUST be willing to work out of the Chicago facility/garage/lot/office. - MUST be able to travel from one facility to another in a timely manner. - MUST be able to maintain flexibility in schedule in order to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours. -MUST be able to walk or move to assist customers in a timely manner; in some cases, must be able to travel up and down parking garage ramps in order to assist customers and garage issues.

Salary Range
$50K-$53K a year
