Job description

If so, The Pfister Hotel is looking for an individual to be a part of our team and continue its iconic legacy.
Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for over 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for over 50 consecutive years.
What you will be doing
  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, cookies, and specialty items.

  • Follow standardized recipes and hotel presentation standards.

  • Assist with banquet, restaurant, room service, and catering dessert production.

  • Ensure all pastries and desserts meet hotel quality, taste, and appearance expectations.

  • Maintain consistency across all outlets and events.

Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Culinary or Pastry Arts degree/certificate preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of pastry, baking, or culinary experience required.

  • Previous hotel, resort, banquet, fine dining, or high-volume food service experience preferred.
