Job description

Mack Industries is growing and adding a Sales Representative to our Precast Concrete Division. This individual will carry out all sales activities for assigned accounts within Florida while ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery. This position will require a willingness to learn sales software, sales practices and protocols, product portfolio and customer service and to establish new business in an expanding market while developing new accounts and servicing them.
This position requires regular travel within Florida.
Essential Functions:
  • Generate and qualify leads for precast concrete and small commercial sales
  • Source and develop client referrals with general contractors within Florida servicing areas
  • Develop, maintain and grow customer database
  • Make in person and phone sales calls to existing and new clients
  • Develop and make presentations of company products, innovative technology and services to current and potential customers
  • Prepare and present sales orders
  • Proficient in reading architectural and structural drawings and blueprints, project specifications, along with a general understanding of the construction/ precast process
  • Conduct in-field product training
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, in-person and electronically
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Perform quality checks on product and service delivery. Report contractor concerns and make corrective action plan
  • Monitor competitor, market conditions and product development. Continue to look for improvements in product and processes

Requirements
Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related degree
  • 2+ years' experience preferred, ideally within the construction or precast concrete industry

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of customer service principles
  • Working knowledge of basic business principles
  • Working knowledge of practices and principles of sales
  • Knowledge in analytical tools, such as spreadsheets and database management programs
  • Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Applications required, Excel Preferred
  • Time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
