Job description

RCL Concrete Cutting is seeking a dependable and experienced Concrete Operator/Cutter to join our growing team. This position involves concrete cutting, coring, demolition, equipment operation, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Candidates must be motivated, safety-focused, and able to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform concrete cutting, sawing, coring, and demolition work
  • Operate equipment including:
  • Gas, propane, electric, and diesel floor saws
  • Soft-cut saws, wall saws, chain saws, hand saws, core drills, and wire saws
  • Forklifts, articulating booms, and scissor lifts
  • Load and unload equipment and materials safely
  • Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are in proper working condition
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and hazard-free
  • Pressure wash work areas and equipment as needed
  • Communicate effectively with Managers and Project Superintendents
  • Complete projects safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Direct helpers professionally and respectfully

Qualifications

  • Previous concrete cutting and construction experience required
  • Ability to safely operate concrete cutting equipment
  • Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts
  • Strong communication skills and proactive attitude
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 150 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must pass background screening
  • Must pass a Drug screening
  • OSHA 10 required
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • If not currently certified, employee must complete OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 within the first 90 days of employment

Work Environment

  • This position is performed primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent lifting and moving of heavy materials and equipment
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
  • Ability to work safely in active construction environments
