Pre-Owned Sales Manager
DRIVE our Pre-Owned Sales team to SUCCESS!
Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land is seeking a Pre-Owned Sales Manager with previous Pre-Owned, High Line experience to provide direction and expertise while developing your team's sales skills.
The ideal candidate will lead by demonstrating the behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and safety standards.
  • Assisting Sales Associates with closing of deals
  • Overseeing the efforts of vehicle sales associates to enhance the dealerships image, the customer experience and achieving 100% Customer Satisfaction
  • Forecasting daily and monthly goals for the department and strive to meet them
  • Completing customer follow-up
  • Monitoring all three areas of Traffic: Showroom, E-Commerce and Phones
  • Training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of Sales Associates
  • Working with the Sales VP on vehicle inventory to be stocked, based on sales and market analysis
  • Assisting in managing controllable expense elements for the Pre-Owned Car Department
  • Work closely with the service department to ensure proper and timely reconditioning of inventory
  • Manage inventory to a strict 60 day turn (no units over 90 days in stock)
  • Have strategic contacts to secure buy bids on exotic and non-core inventory

Candidates will be held in confidence and must be able to pass an in depth interview process, background screening and reference check.
  • Two to three years of experience in Sales Management.
  • F&I Experience required.
  • Two years minimum Sales Experience.
  • College degree or experience equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, supervisory and leadership skills
  • In depth knowledge and proven utilization of DMS and CRM systems.
  • Must have valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits in order to drive both customer vehicles and a demonstrator vehicle.
  • Must be insurable.
  • Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity
