Bob Boyte Honda of Brandon is seeking an experienced, driven Sales Manager to join our leadership team. We are looking for a proven automotive professional with Honda or import-franchise experience and a strong understanding of every part of the retail car business.

The right candidate must be able to lead people, desk deals, close customers, manage inventory, protect gross profit, and hold the sales team accountable. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands both new and pre-owned operations and knows how to build a winning dealership culture.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Desk deals effectively while protecting front-end and back-end gross profit

  • Work directly with salespeople and customers to close business

  • Drive new- and pre-owned vehicle sales performance

  • Manage daily appointments, showroom traffic, internet leads, and follow-up

  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure every opportunity is worked properly

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales professionals

  • Conduct daily sales meetings and ongoing product and process training

  • Work closely with F&I to improve profitability, product penetration, and customer experience

  • Assist with inventory management, vehicle aging, pricing, merchandising, and turn

  • Ensure accurate appraisals and sound used-vehicle acquisition decisions

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Honda products, programs, incentives, and competitive models

  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports

  • Build a culture of urgency, accountability, teamwork, and professionalism

  • Maintain high customer-satisfaction and manufacturer-compliance standards

  • Support dealership leadership in achieving volume, gross-profit, market-share, and CSI objectives

Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Previous automotive sales-management experience is required

  • Honda or comparable import-franchise experience is strongly preferred

  • Broad automotive retail experience across new cars, used cars, desking, closing, inventory, CRM, and F&I

  • Proven record of increasing sales volume and gross profit

  • Strong deal-structuring and negotiation skills

  • Working knowledge of dealership financial statements and sales-performance metrics

  • Ability to coach employees and enforce consistent processes

  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and personal accountability

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

What We Offer
  • Competitive, performance-based compensation

  • Excellent earning potential

  • Established, high-volume Honda dealership

  • Strong inventory, marketing, and leadership support

  • Opportunity for advancement within the Bob Boyte Auto Family

  • Professional and growth-oriented working environment

  • Employee benefits and vehicle-purchase opportunities

Bob Boyte Honda of Brandon is looking for more than a traditional desk manager. We want an experienced automotive leader who understands the entire business, develops people, protects profitability, and takes ownership of results.
