Position Highlights:
  • Position: Practice Manager III - Orthopedics
  • Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
  • Full Time: 40 hours/ weekly
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Varies with needed flexibility for early morning and later evening meetings. Please note that Physicians and Staff can call at any time if needed.
  • Required Travel: Between Edward Hospital (Naperville) and Elmhurst Hospital (Elmhurst)

A Brief Overview:
The Practice Manager III is a senior-level leadership position with oversight of multiple medical practices within the healthcare system. This role is responsible for strategic planning, operational excellence, staff management, financial administration, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience across a group of practices.
What you will do:
  • Leading and managing the daily operations of a group of medical practices, ensuring consistency and high-quality care across all locations.
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a team of practice managers and staff, setting performance expectations, providing mentorship, and ensuring professional development.
  • Assuming responsibility for the financial performance of the practices, including budgeting, revenue management, expense control, and financial planning to optimize profitability.
  • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth, enhance patient access, and improve patient care quality across all practice locations.
  • Maintaining a patient-centered approach, addressing patient inquiries and concerns, and ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
  • Establishing and enforcing quality assurance and compliance measures, ensuring all practices adhere to healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
  • Driving operational efficiency through process improvement, standardized protocols, and the use of healthcare technology to enhance patient care and record-keeping.
  • Overseeing inventory management and supply procurement, ensuring practices are well-stocked and resources are used efficiently.
  • Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on the performance of all practice locations, analyzing financial, operational, and patient care metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers, hospital administration, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and coordinated care delivery across the system.

What you will need:
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, or minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Masters Degree Preferred
  • 5+ Years experience in healthcare management, with a strong background in medical practice or hospital management preferred
  • AHA CPR - American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred
