WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic professional with 5 or more years of experience managing staff and working in revenue cycle management, including medical billing, coding, insurance claims, Medicaid regulations, quality assurance, and use of electronic health records.

A certification in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management is preferred. What You'll Be Doing Supervision of quality assurance, billing, medical credentialing, and medical records staff Practice Management is about creating systems and processes that empower front line HHS employees to deliver exceptional care to our community. Oversight of Department medical billing and documentation compliance Management of medical credentialing process Maximizing revenue in collaboration with HHS Fiscal Billing Team, senior leadership, and program managers.

Monitoring the revenue cycle beginning with client registration to reimbursement. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal billing, coding, and revenue processing laws and regulations. Electronic Health Record system ownership Minimum Qualifications Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience working in revenue cycle management, including medical billing, coding, insurance claims, Medicaid regulations, quality assurance, and use of electronic health records.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree. Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Note: Based upon legislative requirements, some positions may be subject to different minimum qualifications.

Preferred Criteria, Interview Preferences Preference for interviews will be given to applicants with experience in the following: Certification in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management Experience in local government public health and behavioral health medical billing. Experience interacting and contracting with health insurance companies.
