What is the role?

As a motivated Business Development Manager you will proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the US satellite and space hardware sector. You will work closely with business development, engineering, and product teams to develop and execute strategies that promote our products to satellite manufacturers and other space industry stakeholders. Your focus will be on building strong, long-term client relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence in the space hardware industry. 

Success in this role requires deep collaboration within the US space ecosystem to cultivate long-term opportunities and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the space industry (or similar) in a commercial role, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strong industry relationships. 
This role is based in Denver, Colorado, where we are building a high-performing and fast-paced team. The position will be primarily on-site and in person at the office, with occasional travel to industry conferences and visiting customers.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain beneficial business and customer relationships 
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within defined timelines 
  • Coordinate commercial efforts across teams and other EnduroSat departments 
  • Keep informed about space industry trends, space capabilities, and best practices 
  • Participate in various industry conferences showcasing EnduroSat’s newest products 
  • Successfully align proposed solutions and products with customer needs 
  • Maintain high integrity at all times and be an exemplary company representative 

What do we look for?

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the space or aerospace industries. 
  • Wide network of space industry contacts and professional connections 
  • Experience in direct sales of satellite systems
  • Proven track record of delivering results and meeting expectations 
  • Previous experience with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally in the US and internationally 
  • Based in the Denver area or willing to relocate 
  • US citizen or US permanent resident
