Location: Raliegh, NC

Duration: 6 Months

ROLE_DESCRIPTION

This role is for a contingent resource to function as a mid-level engineer as part of Enact Mortgage Insurance's User Services sub organization providing support to key strategic solutions. This role focuses on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD / VDI), Microsoft Windows, macOS, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, Jamf, and automation through PowerShell. The engineer will provide operational stability, act as an escalation point, and contribute to modern endpoint management strategies that drive a secure, scalable, and efficient user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise endpoint technologies.
  • Hands on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD / VDI) environments.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Windows 10/11 administration.
  • Experience with macOS endpoint administration using Jamf Pro.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
  • Working knowledge of SCCM (Configuration Manager) in a hybrid environment.

  • Provide Tier 3 operational support for enterprise Windows and Mac endpoints.
  • Maintain and enhance endpoint configuration baselines, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Implement OS updates, security patches, and device health monitoring processes.
  • Administer Jamf Pro for macOS fleet management, including profiles, packages, scripts, patching, and enrollment workflows.
  • Align macOS platform support with enterprise compliance and security requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve PowerShell scripts to automate tasks across AVD, Intune, SCCM, and general endpoint operations.
  • Create repeatable automation for provisioning, reporting, compliance checks, and remediation.
  • Serve as an escalation point for End User Services and cross functional IT teams.
  • Participate in on call rotation for critical endpoint infrastructure support.
  • Document processes and maintain internal technical knowledgebases.
