    • Balance near-term portfolio performance with long-term platform transformation
  • AI-Led Modernization
    • Identify and embed high-impact AI/ML use cases across the product suite (e.g., workforce planning, talent recruitment and insights, resource optimization, automation)
    • Drive pragmatic adoption of AI to improve both customer outcomes and internal product-R&D efficiency
    • Ensure AI investments are tightly aligned to customer value, adoption, and ROI
  • Customer-Centric Transformation
    • Deeply understand the needs of PowerSchool's installed base and prioritize initiatives that increase adoption, retention, and expansion
    • Lead efforts to simplify, rationalize, and modernize the product portfolio (including SKU consolidation and value-based packaging)
    • Deliver solutions that eliminate friction and strengthen customer trust
  • Operational Excellence & Financial Discipline
    • Own product line family performance, including revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost efficiency
    • Drive disciplined prioritization of product-R&D investments based on usage, adoption, and business impact
    • Optimize resource allocation to ensure high-return innovation and sustainable scalability
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver cohesive, high-impact outcomes
    • Ensure tight alignment across product, R&D, and GTM functions to accelerate time-to-market and maximize customer value
    • Champion a strong product-UX-engineering operating model grounded in accountability and measurable outcomes
  • Team Leadership & Transformation
    • Lead and scale a high-performing team through a period of significant transformation
    • Inspire a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
    • Build leadership bench strength and elevate product management, UX, and operational capabilities
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 15+ years of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Travel occasionally, up to 20-25%, for key moments such as team summits, training, customer meetings, company events, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
  • Proven track record of leading modernization or platform transformation initiatives, ideally within ERP, HCM, or talent systems
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute AI-driven product strategies with measurable business impact
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L or product line economics (growth, margin, ROI)
  • Deep commitment to customer-centricity, with a history of driving adoption, retention, and expansion within an installed base
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Customer Success to deliver GTM alignment and commercial outcomes
  • Exceptional leadership presence, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead through change
