Job description

Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Provide Software Lab build support, may require hand carrying of equipment and cable connections to set up for testing
• Modify and maintain existing applications, develop user interfaces, integrate new hardware/radios into • RDT&E tasking to include integrating different radios into government software
• Assist with documenting software changes, test procedures, and test reports • Attend technical meetings as needed Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science from an accredited university
• 3+ years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks
• Secret Clearance required Qualifications:
• Proficient in Linux, more specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Proficient in C++, especially GUI development
• Ability to work independently and with a team The primary location for performance of the work will be in Newport, RI with occasional travel required within the continental United States.
