Team Overview

Our Information Technology (IT) team leads all aspects of IT systems and processes across the enterprise, including data services, security, compliance, applications, automation, and end-user services. Through innovative and streamlined technology solutions, this dynamic team enables company growth, protects data, and serves as a critical partner to all departments of PowerSchool.

ResponsibilitiesOur Enterprise Technology team is the first line of help when customers encounter an issue with any of our products, systems, software, or applications.Your day-to-day job will consist of:
  • Monitoring ticket queues and responding to issues in a timely manner.
  • Helping end users with hardware and software issues.
  • Maintaining the hardware asset system.(CMDB)
  • Shipping, intaking and reformatting hardware to and for end users.
  • Assisting other IT team members with onsite IT tasks.
  • Ensuring conference rooms are always in a working order.
  • Working with Project Managers to execute on business objectives.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant IT work experience. (4 or more years)
  • 2 or more experience in end user facing IT responsibilities.
  • 5 or more years' experience working with Microsoft Suite from a user perspective. 2 or more years from an IT support perspective.
  • Advanced computer component/hardware knowledge - Ability to identify, understand & diagnose all computer hardware failure symptoms or and or performance issues.
  • Excellent end user interaction communication skills.
  • Excellent debug and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent soft skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of all modern consumer and enterprise end user devices such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets & conference room system.
  • Eagerness to grow with the company constantly strive to improve business processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in ITIL, Comp TIA, Networking, Security, etc.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in A/V (Audio Video) solutions related to conferencing and large format presentations.
  • Experience with supporting a growing enterprise as an IT administrator with SAAS applications such as Slack, MS Teams, Intune, ServiceNow, FreshService, Atlassian, MS Suite, etc.
  • Experience with helpdesk responsibilities such as monitoring ticket queues, escalating tickets, recognizing ticket patterns and influencing continual improvement in the helpdesk system.
  • Experience with general asset management and CMDB maintenance.
  • Comfortable taking meetings and representing the IT department in a professional manor.
  • Experience with creating presentations and presenting them to senior IT and cross functional leadership.
  • Experience with managing vendors and maintaining conductive vendor relationship.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $66,700 - $83,400 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
