Power Washing Technician
Position Overview:
Capital City McD, Inc., a family-owned McDonald's franchisee operating 16 restaurants throughout Springfield, Jacksonville, Beardstown, Mt. Sterling, and Havana, is seeking a dependable Power Washing Technician to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of our restaurant properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine power washing and exterior cleaning services across all 16 restaurant locations.
  • Power wash sidewalks, drive-thru lanes, parking areas, building exteriors, dumpster areas, patios, and other exterior surfaces as needed.
  • Remove dirt, grease, debris, buildup, and stains to maintain clean and professional restaurant properties.
  • Follow an established cleaning and service schedule to ensure locations receive consistent attention.
  • Inspect exterior areas while on-site and communicate maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns that may need additional attention.
  • Properly operate, maintain, and care for power washing equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare work areas appropriately and follow safety procedures when using power washing equipment and cleaning products.
  • Travel regularly between restaurant locations to complete scheduled cleaning and property maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of locations serviced and work completed.
  • Communicate effectively with restaurant managers regarding service needs, scheduling, and any concerns identified while completing work.
  • Assist with other exterior cleaning or light property-maintenance projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous power washing, commercial cleaning, property maintenance, landscaping, or similar experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage a consistent service schedule.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, professional-looking properties.
  • Dependable and able to complete assigned work thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between restaurant locations.
  • Ability to safely operate power washing equipment and other cleaning tools.
  • Physical ability to perform hands-on work, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Flexible availability, as some work may need to be completed during early mornings, evenings, or other lower-volume periods to minimize disruption to restaurant operations.

Compensation:
  • Starting pay: $18/hour.
