Lead Kitchen Hood Cleaning Technician

Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr and up based on experience

About the Role

Extreme Cleaning, Inc. has been the go-to kitchen exhaust hood cleaning company since 2002, now operating across 14 states. We're looking for an experienced Lead Technician to join our Iowa team. You'll run a crew, manage job sites, and make sure every client gets a top-quality clean — on time, every time.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a crew of technicians on commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning jobs
  • Power wash hoods, filters, ductwork, and rooftop fans to NFPA 96 standards
  • Drive a company vehicle and manage equipment on job sites
  • Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on every job
  • Travel regionally with occasional overnight stays

What You Bring

  • Prior experience in hood/exhaust cleaning, pressure washing, or related trade work
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to lead a team and hold people accountable
  • Comfortable working evenings, nights, and some weekends
  • Able to climb ladders, access rooftops, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • At least 18 years old
