Job description

The LPN role offers an opportunity to provide licensed practical nursing care primarily in behavioral settings. This position involves a collaborative team approach to support individuals with developmental disabilities (DDD) and/or behavioral issues, managing a patient load that varies by assignment. Shifts typically last 12 hours, during which the LPN will administer medications, document care, and participate in care planning. There are opportunities for professional development and the potential for direct hire by our client.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications according to prescribed guidelines
  • Accurately document patient care and medical information
  • Develop and update individualized care plans
  • Provide nursing care within a collaborative team environment
  • Support patients primarily in group home facilities

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a licensed practical nurse
  • CPI
  • Finger Print Clearance card
  • Patient assessment skills
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • TB or X-Ray or Quantiferon
