Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer / Power Apps Developer to support the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) IT Support Services contract. NNSY's mission is to safely return warships to the Fleet on time and within budget. In this role, the SharePoint Developer / Power Apps Developer will support the design, development, administration, and maintenance of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions that enable enterprise collaboration, workflow automation, and business process modernization.
This position is fully on-site.
Duties & Responsibilities
The SharePoint Developer / Power Apps Develope shall have demonstrated experience, which may include the following:
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, and site collections in both SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises environments.
  • Administer SharePoint environments, including user permissions, security controls, and governance practices.
  • Configure and manage SharePoint sites, document management systems, and collaboration solutions.
  • Utilize SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Power Automate to design and automate workflows.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions, including both Canvas apps and Model-driven apps.
  • Create and manage Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes and integrate with data sources such as SQL, SharePoint, and third-party APIs.
  • Connect Power Apps solutions to multiple data sources, leveraging Common Data Service (Dataverse) and implementing business rules within applications.
  • Develop client-side solutions using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Utilize modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular in conjunction with SharePoint and Power Apps.
  • Develop custom SharePoint and Power Apps integrations using REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SharePoint and Power Apps environments, including performance optimization, error diagnosis, and remediation.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and updates to ensure the stability, security, and availability of SharePoint and Power Apps solutions.

Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a SharePoint Developer or Power Apps Developer, with at least three (3) years of specialized experience developing and administering SharePoint solutions and Power Apps applications.
    • Or Level II Certification (Security+ or better) with seven (7) years of relevant experience as described above.
Preferred Qualifications and Highly Desired Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer
  • Other relevant Microsoft or SharePoint/Power Platform certifications
