As a data analytics professional, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We're looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for clients, in transforming fragmented legacy data into integrated, high-value assets that power modernization efforts and data-driven operations.
As a data architect on our information-focused team, you'll use your technical expertise to design data architecture solutions by assisting to modernize critical national security systems by architecting data environments that enable faster, more accurate decision-making across complex mission landscapes. You'll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by resolving routine data architecture-related issues and implement required data environments to meet customized client requests for automated data structure and flow.
In this role, you'll apply best practices and tools like Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx, and approved connectors, to architect resilient apps, relational data models or tables, reusable components, and automated flows that integrate SharePoint, SQL, and DoD-authorized sources. You'll grow your technical experience as you assist in the design, definition, development, and testing of cloud solution components, serving as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:
  • Experience building solution packaging and Dataverse data models such as tables, relationships, forms, and views, and migrating via managed or unmanaged solutions across development, testing, or production environments
  • Experience with hands-on development across Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps, including Power Automate cloud flows that connect approved connectors such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and SQL
  • Knowledge of Dataverse fundamentals, environment strategy, security roles or teams, solution transfer, dependency management, and ALM pipelines
  • Ability to design secure app architectures with role-based access and connector governance
  • Ability to implement audit-ready controls aligned to client policies
  • Ability to package and deploy features via solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot dependency issues and move releases cleanly across environments
  • Ability to write performant data logic in Power Fx, and integrate flows or components for robust user experiences
  • Secret clearance

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience automating processes and delivering dashboards with Power BI
  • Experience with complementary enterprise tools such as Qlik and Tableau, used in client environments
  • Experience implementing environment governance and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
  • Knowledge of licensing tiers, including per-user or per-app
  • Knowledge of licensing and capacity planning, including Dataverse DB, file, or log capacity, managed environments licensing implications, and premium connectors
  • Knowledge of data engineering and analytics concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL and ELT patterns, and BI or reporting, in support of Power Platform solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with analysts or engineers to translate requirements into scalable Dataverse schemas and automation patterns
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or a related field
  • PL-400 or PL-200 Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
