Job description

Our SentryWorld team is looking to add Line/Grill Cooks to our culinary department. We are looking for people like you who are curious, hardworking, and always looking to improve

Our friendly teams at SentryWorld are looking for Line/Grill Cooks for our culinary team and we want you to join us.  

Current Line/Grill Cook opportunities at SentryWorld include: 

  • PJ's Restaurant seeking Full-time (30-40 hours)

What You’ll Do 

As a Line/Grill Cook, you’ll: 

  • Prepare a variety of dishes made from our very own recipes 

  • Responsible for setting up food preparation lines including grill, sauté, Fry cook, desert, pastry and salad lines. 

  • Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu items. 

  •  Prepare a variety of foods, meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold food items. 

  • Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes for allocated station. 

  • Serve menu items compliant with established standards. 

What it Takes 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience 

  • 0-2 years of related previous cooking experience preferred 

  • Ability to prepare food from recipes, commensurate with incumbent’s skill level 

  • Self-motivated 

  • Ability to obtain the State Food Handlers Certification 

  • Ability to multi-task and able to follow written or verbal instructions 

  • Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness 

  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and Holidays 

This position can be filled as a Line/Grill Cook I or a Line/Grill Cook II based on the experience qualifications of the selected candidate.
