About us

Chapel Ford Farm is a pasture-based farm in Gettysburg, Pa. We raise chickens, turkeys, lamb, and pork. All of our livestock are on pasture 24/7 and are either grass-fed or fed a local non-GMO diet. Chapel Ford Farm has an on-site USDA processing plant that is one of the only in the country that does red meat and poultry slaughter on-site and on a farm. This allows us to give our customers which include grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, and the general family, high-quality meat and a diverse selection of fresh meats.

Job Duties:

  • Working poultry evisceration line
  • Cutting up whole chickens/turkeys into cuts
  • Working red meat slaughter floor
  • Packaging meat and weighing/labeling accordingly
  • Cleaning and sanitizing facility at end of day daily
  • Pulling Wholesale Orders
  • Making Sausage
  • Making Bone Broth and Tallow

Job Requirments:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
  • Must be able to work in hot, cold, and humid rooms
  • Must be able to stand on feet daily
  • Must be able to effectively communicate to coworkers
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Shift Start 6:45AM Monday-Thursday
