About the Team

You will help manage and create seasonal merchandise databases for Pottery Barn Kids eCommerce products. As the Merchandising Analyst you will provide support to Website Merchandising teams.ย 

About the Roleย 

You will help manage and create seasonal merchandise databases for both Pottery Barn Kids eCommerce products. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating processes and flow of information internally and externally. As the Merchandising Analyst you will provide support to Website Merchandising teams.ย 

This role is in-office Monday-Thursday with optional work from home Fridays.

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Compile and input data to maintain seasonal product information databases eCommerce and Registryย 
  • Work closely with creative team to assist in creation and maintenance of creative product databasesย 
  • Work closely with Website merchandising team to ensure correct site layout and ensure site data integrity and correct product set-upย 
  • Create and maintain change forms to ensure database consistency working closely with Creative teamย 
  • Interface with site managers, project management and e-technology team for timely database uploads, site deployments, and reporting of issuesย 
  • Manage database uploads to merchant preview, dev, and QA testing environmentsย 
  • Review creative content for product data integrityย 
  • Coordinate and participate in weekly site testing in order to ensure correct data integrityย 
  • Coordinate the archiving of Website seasonal features, functionality, and productsย 
  • Other projects as assignedย 

Criteria

  • BA/BS requiredย 
  • Previous e Commerce, retail or catalog experience 1-2 yearsย 
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced excel skills, and word processing applications, must have an interest in the linkage from systems to the Web, access database a plusย 
  • Well-organized, detail -orientedย 
  • Able to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutionsย 
  • Retail experience and basic business knowledgeย 
  • Action-oriented and full of energy for challengesย 
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and a changing environmentย 
  • Meticulous approach to managing and organizing information.ย 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.ย 
  • Ability to present data and insights to non-technical audiences.ย 
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating with merchandise planners, buyers, and sales teams.ย 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.ย 
  • Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities.ย 
  • Understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, or supply chain logistics.ย 
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco corporate office.ย 
  • Operate a computer and communicate via telephoneย
