Job description

Now that the kids are back to school... why not earn some extra income while they're in class?

We're looking for a Part-Time Greenhouse Helper to join our team! Enjoy morning hours that fit your schedule—work approximately 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. to Noon while helping care for our greenhouse crops. You'll float between our greenhouses as needed, making each day a little different.

Whether you're a parent with school-age children, someone looking to supplement your income, or simply enjoy working with plants and being active, we'd love to hear from you!

We're looking to add a Greenhouse Worker to our staff. This position is essential as a role that helps to grow and ensure optimum quality of product for our customers 
 
 Here's some of the responsibilities you can expect in this role on a daily basis: 

  •  Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of products, sizing, packaging, and quality. 
  • Assist the Grower with duties in other areas as requested. 
  • Harvest products according to customer specifications and food safety procedures. Communicate potential shortages or overages of product to Grower.
  • Follow procedures and instructions for seeding, watering, fertilizing, spraying, pruning, deadheading, transferring, and moving flats and plants. Assist the Grower with monitoring plant health. 
  • Follow all food safety program procedures and guidelines. 
  • Maintain a positive work environment with clear and friendly communication. 
  • Keep work area clean, neat and safe. Complete reports for safety and other operational issues. 
  • Perform any other duties necessary to meet job responsibilities.
