Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Full-time OR Posting Clerk in Same Day Surgery.
Work Full-time hours (4-9-hour shifts or 5-8-hour shifts).
Provides administrative support and coordination for scheduling, registering, medical records, billing and clerical functions.
Chart Prep - gathering paperwork for surgeries utilizing your Medical Terminology and EPIC experience, as well as office and computer skills.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure
  • Heartsaver CPRAED Certification - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Preferred)

Experience
  • One year of related experience (Required)
  • EPIC Experience (Strongly Preferred)
  • Surgical Chat Prep Experience (Strongly Preferred)
