Job description

As a Senior Power BI Business Intelligence Analyst, you will drive strategic decision-making across the organization, set reporting standards, and mentor a high-performing global service team. Your blend of technical mastery, creative insight, and business acumen will help shape our data culture and empower innovation at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Stakeholder Leadership: Partner directly with senior business leaders to define data-driven strategies, establish KPIs, and deliver actionable insights that influence high-level decision-making.
  • Enterprise-Grade Dashboard Development: Architect sophisticated, visually compelling Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions tailored for executive audiences and critical business functions.
  • Team Mentorship & Development: Mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
  • Reporting Standards & Governance: Champion the establishment and enforcement of analytics standards, style guides, and best practices, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability across all BI deliverables.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with IT, operations, and business leaders to translate complex data sets into strategic opportunities and business value.
  • Executive Communication: Present insights, recommendations, and business cases to senior management in a compelling, persuasive manner, influencing organizational direction.

Qualifications:

  • 6 - 9 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related discipline, with demonstrated impact at the enterprise level
  • Proven track record of leading analytics initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Expert-level proficiency with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and integration with complex data sources
  • Strong portfolio highlighting enterprise dashboard solutions and advanced data storytelling capabilities
  • Experience mentoring and developing analytics teams; recognized for thought leadership and innovation
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive influence skills
  • Deep understanding of analytics governance, reporting standards, and data visualization best practices
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for transforming data into business value

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple BI platforms (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, DAX, Python, or other data/query languages
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PL-300, Tableau, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, or highly regulated industries
  • Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Visual Communication, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

The annualized base salary range for this role is $93,000 to $130,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
