About the Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY
We seek to hire a post-doctoral research associate with a background in organizational behavior, human-computer interaction, psychology, computer science or related disciplines to work on research projects on human-AI interaction. Increasing ability to generate human-AI interaction data needs to be matched with interdisciplinary perspectives to develop original understanding of how human performance augmentation can be enhanced with AI technologies. Current research at DMSB spanning written, spoken, and social human-AI environments requires additional research support to ensure consistent and rigorous knowledge development in human-AI interaction. The candidate will be excited about exploring questions about how AI can be developed and deployed to serve humanity and augment human intelligence in ways that improve human well-being. The candidate will help design and execute studies (online/lab/field), lead data analysis, and write papers. They will have the opportunity to work on a combination of their own research and collaborative projects with their faculty adviser.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Completed PhD in organizational behavior, human-computer interaction, psychology, computer science or related disciplines with experiences related to human-AI interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
The successful candidate will help design and execute studies (online/lab/field), lead data analysis, and write papers.
