Job Title: Construction Project Manager II
Location: Hybrid role in Superior, WI 54880

Duration: 12 months  
Pay rate: $60-65/hr on W2 


Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Project Manager to support execution of capital projects within the Midwest Region. This role is execution focused, responsible for taking approved and scoped projects and driving them through planning, construction, execution, and close out.
The ideal candidate is a hands on PM who can independently manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, outages, and field activities, and deliver projects safely and efficiently with minimal oversight.
This position is 100% capital charged.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead capital projects from handoff through close out
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality
  • Execute a repeatable portfolio of asset replacement projects including but not limited to:
  • Booster Pump Replacements
  • Valve replacements
  • Pressure Control Valves (PCVs)
  • Take ownership once equipment is ordered and drive projects to completion
  • Develop simplified drawing packages as required (actuators, controllers, power)
  • Coordinate closely with:
  • Regional Operations supervisors and engineers
  • Asset Management (ACMs)
  • Outage Coordinators
  • Mitigate risk through planning process
  • Lead and manage:
  • MOCs
  • Risk Reviews
  • Procure materials
  • Manage contractors and vendors
  • Ensure proper documentation and project close out
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience delivering capital projects as a Project Manager
  • Strong execution experience in:
  • Detailed planning
  • Field execution
  • Close out
  • Demonstrated ability to take loosely defined scope and execute effectively
  • Experience working with:
  • Operations teams
  • Field construction
  • Contractors and vendors
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Enbridge experience
  • Experience in pipeline, energy, or regulated asset environments
  • Familiarity with:

Initial Planning
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables

  • Manage any needed contractors
Communication
  • Communicate overall project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Continual communication and check ins to action items/delegated work
  • Facilitate meetings (kick-offs, status updates, reviews, schedules)
  • Manage expectations of leadership, sponsors, and team members
  • Document decisions and maintain project records Cost, Schedule, and Resource Management
• Track progress against the project schedule
o Communicate changes to the team and sponsor group(s)
• Monitor and control project budgets
o Provide monthly forecasting to Region Accountant(s)
• Manage resource availability and workload
o Ensure COPAS is entered as needed
o Work with Tech and PLM Supervisors to manage resources/equipment
• Adjust plans as needed to address delays or changes
o Identify risks early with team and develop mitigation and contingency plans
Documentation and Project Close Out
• Ensure deliverables meet standards and requirements
o Engineering/Specialists to assist as needed
• Ensure all forms and documentation are filled out and filed properly
o Region Document Personal to assist in filling
• Close out POs and financials
• Facilitate turnover to Operations as needed
