THE ROLE:
We are currently looking to expand our Technical Support department and are looking for a couple of new POS Install Specialists to join our team! As we grow and we onboard new merchant partners, it is important for us to expand our Tech Support department along the way. You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership for the Point of Sale installation aspects of the business. This position supports a wide range of tech support functions such as merchant technical troubleshooting, POS set up and deployments, as well as scheduling and installation!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Support our merchant's various payment processing technologies via email, text, and phone
  • Work with POS resellers to ensure proper integration with all platforms
  • Provide demos to prospective merchants to ensure all systems meet the needs of each merchant's business
  • Work with the POS Communications Coordinator to ensure strong relationships between merchants and POS partners/resellers
  • Assist merchants with installations of credit card terminals
  • Work with vendors and merchants to install/convert POS Systems
  • Configure/Test/Ship credit card terminals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and configuration issues
  • Add detailed notes in the CRM system
  • Contribute to the Riverside Payments Knowledge base
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our merchants
  • Order equipment and accessories as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Past experience in merchant services - focused on tech or deployment, POS implementation, or technical support is required to be successful in this role
  • 2+ years of experience with different POS systems. Past experience with Linga, TouchBistro, Revel, and Clover is a massive benefit.
  • Past experience working with CRMs or HelpDesk systems would be an asset.
  • Mastery of Google Drive and Microsoft Suite
  • Strong tendency towards adaptability and agility as priorities can quickly change.
