Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant General Manager to join our vibrant family-owned and operated hospitality team. Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow

  • Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items
  • Handle POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
  • Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
  • Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies
  • Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining high culinary standards
  • Assist with budgeting activities, including cost control measures related to food handling and labor expenses

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food environments

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development responsibilities

  • Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
