Title: Kubernetes Admin
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
  • Kubernetes Administrator with strong knowledge in building and managing Vanilla Kubernetes or kubeadm based clusters.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in managing Kubernetes control plane is mandatory
  • Excellent hands -on experience in upgrading Kubernetes components like Istio, nginx ingress, cni components, outcold etc are mandatory.
  • Should have experience with PVC in Kubernetes. Experience with portworx is preferable.
  • Expected to have good experience working in an environment with the GitOps model.
  • Expected to have worked in multi cluster environments with various type of applications
  • CKA certification is preferable
  • More than 8 years' experience in the IT industry.
  • Expected to have played the role of Kubernetes administrator for more than 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge on troubleshooting issues related to Kubernetes clusters including the issues related to control planes, ingress, worker nodes, deployments, PVCs etc
  • Very strong communication and leadership skills are mandatory
  • Knowledge in on-prem systems and virtualization like VMware will be an added advantage
  • Scripting knowledge in Python and strong hold in Linux will be an added advantage
