Job description

Seeking a Solutions Engineer for a full-time/perm position based in Colorado Springs with the ability to travel to customer sites for installations, demos, and sales calls. The ideal candidate will have experience in compute and radio hardware, networking, Linux OS, databases, scalability, virtualization, and testing tools.


Along with a diverse technical acumen, the candidate should have an equally strong ability to interact with customers and solve their problems. This role will consist of gaining a broad knowledge base of the Company's systems to support the sales team during initial evaluations and installations at customer sites.


Please Note

  • Must be located in the Colorado Springs area
  • When not traveling, this is an In-Office position and not remote
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Offered salary range $75,000 to $125,000


Responsibilities

  • Learn about all aspects of the Company's systems from assembly to applications 
  • Work with the Hardware, Software and Operations engineers
  • Travel to customer sites approximately 50% of the time for 1 to 2 weeks
  • Recommend system configurations to the Sales organization
  • Install systems at customer locations
  • Troubleshoot system issues at customer sites
  • Help customers port applications to the Company's systems
  • Work with internal development staff and external partners when necessary
  • Documenting processes and procedures


Requirements

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a technical position
  • Experience dealing with technical and non-technical customers
  • Experience in some of the following areas is desired:
  • System design
